Squash exhilarating event called SIAO Annual Closed, Club Invitational & PSA-rated Squash Tournament has recently occured at Lagos Country Club! The prestigious club has host the maiden edition of the SIAO Annual Closed, Club Invitational & PSA-rated Squash Tournament. Has concluded the Closed Tournament (Men & Veteran) on Tuesday, this exciting tournament has place at the Squash Section of Lagos Country Club in Ikeja.
Players from all around the world did gather to showcase their skills and compete for glory on the squash court. With a combination of experienced veterans and talented men players, the competition did turns out to be fierce and thrilling.

The competition is powered by SIAO. The Club Invitational (Men & Veteran) segment of the tournament holds on Friday, November 17 and Saturday, November 18, 2023, while the PSA Tournament and Female Exhibition matches) (Professional) PSA holds from Monday, November 13 to Saturday, November 18, 2023. And all finals was played on Saturday, November 18.
Sir Semoore Badejo, Chairman, Squash Section, Lagos Country Club, said over 90 squash players registered for the competition, and this will help enhance the growth of the sports and also make the sports known and very popular.
Sixteen participating clubs to include Apapa Club, Ibadan Recreational Club, Obafemi Awolowo University Club, Ikoyi Club, Unilag Senior Staff Club, Police College, Eko Club, Ivory Club, Lagos State Public Service Club, Benin Club, Yellow Dot Club, O’Trafford Squash Club, Port Harcourt Club, Charlie’s Fitness Centre, Makurdi Squash Club, and Lagos Country Club, were listed by Badejo.
